Contest Rules

Review the rules carefully to avoid disqualification for rules violation.

The Community Impact Challenge is ONLY for individual students in grade 12, who attend the CEEC and CTEC. (This is not a partner or group scholarship)

How Does It Work?

1. REGISTRATION

  • Submit Interest form that includes Student Integrity Pledge

  • Plan to attend the student information session via Zoom

2. VIDEO WILL BE EVALUATE FOR:

  • Authenticity

  • Vision

  • Clarity

  • Purpose

3. AI-FREE REQUIREMENT

You may NOT:

  • Use ChatGPT or other AI generators to create content

  • Copy text from websites

  • Submit templated or auto-generated material

4. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

  • Adhere to theme

  • A compelling title

  • Problem statement (in your own words)

  • Evidence from observation, interviews, or experience

  • Visual elements

  • Your original solution

  • A short impact statement

  • 2 - 4 minute video that can be uploaded to YouTube

5. PROJECT SUBMISSION

  • Video presentations must be submitted electronically by May 8, 2026.

  • More information on project submissions coming soon.

  • A virtual interview may be required .

CEEC Winner - $500

6. WINNER ANNOUNCED

  • Winners from each school will be announced during graduation.

  • Scholarship Amount: $500 each

  • Number of Awards:

    • CEEC - 1 award recipient

    • CTEC - 1 award recipient

  • Open to: CEEC and CTEC - 12 grade only

  • Winning video will be featured on the Advisory Board’s website.
