Early Colleges Senior Expo

The Early Colleges Senior EXPO is the premiere showcase event for12th-grade students at the Charlotte Engineering Early College and the Charlotte Teaching Early College. The class combines the curriculum from English IV and Project Lead the Way: Engineering Design and Development. Teams of students have devoted the last four years of their education to figuring out how to problem-solve using the Instructional design process. The Early Colleges Senior EXPO, held each year in the Spring, is the public event where the students showcase this knowledge.

The projects require ingenuity, creativity, and sustained focus throughout the school year. Groups work with peers and professionals as they go through the development of their unique products. 2026 9th Grade CEA Showcase

PLTW Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA) is a high school specialization course (typically 10th-12th grade) that introduces students to the fundamentals of building design, site development, and structural systems. Students use professional 3D architectural software to create residential and commercial projects while applying math, science, and engineering principles.
